Mario Gadda was the son and only pupil of the famous Italian violin maker Gaetano Gadda. Gaetano Gadda, in turn, was a pupil of the renowned violin maker Stefano Scarampella. Mario Gadda ran a workshop in Sant'Antonio di Porto Mantovano, where he specialised in replicating instruments by Balestrieri and Scarampella. In this workshop, great dedication and precision craftsmanship went into producing instruments of the highest quality.
